The office is closed during February and April school vacations, and the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Artspace Community Arts Center in Greenfield, MA

Artspace has space to rent.  If you need a practice room with piano - we have it.  If you need a place to have an exhibit - we have it.  If you need a space for a meeting, rehearsal or party - we have it.  If you live in our neighborhood and need a parking space - we have it.   If you need an art room for a child's birthday party - we have it.  We have space available in the mornings, some evenings,  and most weekends.  Call us for information at 413-772-6811. Artspace Gallery Exhibits

Artspace Building, 15 Mill Street, Greenfield.
Open Tuesday - Friday 1 to 6 pm; Saturday hours for certain exhibits and by appointment. Closed the week of April 21 - 27 for vacation.

IMG_2707December 2 and 3:  Mill Street Art Works Studio Tour, noon to 4 p.m. Visit Artspace and neighborhood artists' studios to see what is being created in the Mill Street Neighborhood.  A gift basket sale and refreshments will be at Artspace - maps and parking, too.

At 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, furniture maker Julie Godfrey will give a lecture and slide presentation on marquetry, the age old tradition of piecing together pictorial designs in wood. Slides will include examples of marquetry masterpieces from 350 B.C. through the present day and the construction of complex works of marquetry furniture.  Julie will discuss how the development of tools impacted the development of the craft. Julie was part of the Mill Street Arts Works Studio Tour December 2005.  She now works out of her new studio in Shelburne Falls.

January 11 - February 8: Annual Teen Exhibit
Reception and Awards Ceremony: Friday, January 19, 5-7 p.m.

Students from local public and independent high schools will exhibit 2D and 3D work in a variety of media. This annual exhibit always surprises and delights viewers. We are fortunate to have this opportunity to see what is engaging the minds, hearts, and hands of our talented young people.

April 3 - May 9: Annual Members Show
This annual exhibit, featuring the recent work of our members/donors, includes 2D and 3D works in a variety of media by many area artists.

The Gallery is closed April 21 -27 for vacation.
Other exhibits will be announced at a later date.
